ok so about a year ago I bought a Mustang V6 Premium. Everyone latley has been giving me the ****s about why I didn't get a GT and that a V6 is a girls car and this and that. I really don't care to drive all that fast, I've never went more than 100 MPH anyway and I like my V6 but everyone keeps talking about how crappy my car is. It only has under 5K miles on it and is in almost perfect condition, it's a 2008 btw. How much do you think I could get if I traded it in and how much more would I have to pay to get a GT? My car is black and has the white side paint on the side doors.

 

Don't listen to them!!! It's YOUR car, and what YOU want! Tell them if they buy you a GT, you'll take it. There's nothing wrong with a V6. It's a Mustang. Respect it!

 

Did you try reminding them its probably better than what they're driving? That tends to work...

 

Dude don't go and spend a bunch of money just cause someone else wants you to. Mustang is a mustang. Girls don't know the damn difference anyways. My wife doesn't know I have 436 horsepower on mine and she doesn't care anyways. Don't be something everyone else wants you to be. You always have to start somewhere, and a girl that likes you just cause the kind of car you have is a one nighter anyways. throw a supercharger on that sucker if you want power!!!!

GTs arent really for going over 100mph lol . there fun 0-60 ... 0-80 whatever.... i actually went 120 in my v6 and not over a 110 in my GT prob more bc of gas than anything... but i got alot of **** for my v6 but the only reason i traded it in for a GT was bc i really loved the sound of the GT i wanted more power and i wanted a manual car..... just do it for you tho it was a really good decision for me bc i love my car now but dont do it for other people its not there car

 

if u dont need to drive fast, then dont buy the gt and pay the increased insurance, pay the 1k for the gt conversion kit and then theyl shut up, i constantly get people asking what kinda engine or what im running, theyd never guess its a V6

Most of the people who criticize the V6 Mustang don't own one in my experience. The people who love Mustangs don't care what engine platform you have. I get compliments all the time with my V6.

I was just at the dealership yesterday to show the service manager the new addition to my car. A bunch of the techs came out to look it over and nothing but compliments.

They all agreed by the way that with the Xcharger I probably am putting more power to the rear wheels than any of the GT's on the lot at the moment.
