Calling All Legend Limers!
My father just bought a 2006 Legend Lime GT yesterday. He already has the modding bug and wants to start with a hood scoop and a set of stripes kit. It would be awesome if some Legend Limers threw some pics up on this thread so we can scope them out. I've already directed him to the LegendLimeRegistry. Thanks in advance; and yes I searched for this!

I personally dont much care for stripes on a limer. Ive seen white, and Ive seen black, and I think both look out of place on them. I prefer the clean look. Although, Ive always wanted to see a LL fully done up 70 boss 302 style with the flat black hockey stripes, shaker hood, magnum 500s, window louvers and blackout panels. So tell your dad to do that so I can see what it looks like.

The second I saw that color offered back in 05, I thought I'd get that if I ever was to buy a new Stang...
Not knowing I was gonna do just that, well, the wife did.
Go check the LLRegistry gallery, you'll see some 70 style stripes there...

My g/f is also on the LLR. If anything, THAT would be the place for him to get ideas. And IMO, matte black is the ONLY way to go with stripes on the LL's (with the exception of pascal's ride which IS awesome).

The black out paint on mine is actually Anthracite metallic.
It's a 2000 Jag color, very cool with purple and green pigment in the metallic.
Looks killer in the sun.

Although my Grabber Orange is a far cry from Legend Lime, I have to admit....the LL caused me to pull the trigger on getting my new stang. I had a 94' Stang, Loved this car, It was in great shape. Never had any interest in any other Stang. When the 05 model hit, I liked but still was hooked on my black 94'. Until one day we were on lunch break at work hanging out and one of my co-workers pulled up in this brand new 2005 Legend Lime GT with tan leather interior! Damn...everybody's jaw dropped. You would have thought Halle Berry just walked by naked! I was on Fords web site ordering my Stang a week later! So thanks Legend Lime!
