Copy that link, remove the dash at the beginning and replace the numbers at the end with your vin. The lower right hand corner of the window sticker has the build date in it. Year/Month/Day mixed into some other numbers.

Thanks again FordEngineer. Interesting read.

You've got mail again

VRFlip, I tried the link you provided, however I got a message saying "We are temporarily unable to retrieve an online window sticker for this vehicle. Please try again later.
If the problem persists, please contact the help desk for this web site."

Could it be too soon, or simply an outage?

Thanks.

Might be too soon. I didn't get my VIN until the vehicle was built, so it was there the first time I checked. If you're positive the VIN is correct, and is a full 17(?) digit VIN, then it's probably too early. It may be that the window sticker isn't generated until after the build is completed.

Hey fellow Canadien, (I am in the Hamilton Area too).
My dealer gave me the build week, even I do not have the VIN yet.

The way I understand it, the VIN gets assigned before a build date. If you ask your dealer, they should be able to give you the VIN if you already have abuild date.

Ah, something sounded strange there, he told me that he does not have the vin yet, but that it is scheduled to be build in that particular week, I will ask him again. Thanks

Finally got my ride today after 9.5 weeks. All I can say is WOW! I've read many posts on here about how it's worth the wait, and do I ever agree.
