255/55/18 x 9" and 305/40/18 x 11" car is lowered. It handles a lot better then stock but the lower CG has something to do with it to.

I'm running 18x9 DD an 255/45 Nitto 555's on the front and 18x10 DD an 295/45 Nitto 555's on the rear. Also have the Roush springs on the rear only lowered 1". Car handle very well.Straight line or curves . Stays planted. Still stock struts and shocks but upgraded lcas and pan hard bar. Next mod will be Biltstein struts and shocks.

Thanks for all the input everyone. Guess the rumors of over/under steer and not true.

Now the next question.... is anyone running this tire? "Sumitomo High Performance HTR Z III" If so, what do you think of them? I have read the reviews on tirerack but want some real time input from anyone on here. I'll be limited to these tires or Nitto's as I'll be getting my setup from American Muscle. Anymore input would be appricated.

Also, if anyone has a picture of there car looking at it from the rear, post it up please. Trying to get an idea of the look before I pull the trigger on this.

Thanks

Yes and no.

Up around the limit, more understeer is going to happen. In this case, some will be from the tire size stagger, a little more from the wheel width stagger, and the rest from the cornering limit now being higher. More US will also happen if you use better available tire grip to let you get away with cranking the steering in more quickly.

But in normal driving you aren't driving anywhere near that hard, and the amount of understeer will be less anyway. Even fairly hard street driving isn't really hard enough to clearly demonstrate small differences in US. IOW, you won't notice the US for what it is.

I have 255/45s front on 18x9s, and 285/40s rear on 18x10.5s. Roush springs on the rear only. My car doesn't handle as well as I'd like, especially in sweeping curves like expressway ramps. It just feels like too much body roll and some understeer. It feels like it is on the verge of breaking loose. I've never had the opportunity to throw it around to test the limits so it might be that I'm too cautious. I'd like to get a complete suspension package though. With parts that have been engineered to work together rather than throw together random parts.

18x9 / 18x10 with 255/40 and 295/35s. Car handles good, but the rear end does like to slide out around corners, even when im not driving hard.
