Default Need factory H-pipe.

in need of the factory h-pipe i have a 2009 gt and at 9,000 miles my transmission blew up 5th gear literally exploded and i changed the h-pipe and sold it so now i need a new one to keep my warranty thanks emial me sprchrgdtc@yahoo.com

Didn't you notice any slipping or leaking fluids prior to failure?

no

you do not need that H pipe to retain your warranty.


You are legally allowed to change the exhaust however you want AFTER the cats. So as long as your cats are unaffected, you are 100% fine.



now, if you removed the entire cats/H-pipe setup...yeah, you do need it.

the dealer would have to prove that you modifying your exhaust caused the tranny to lose 5th

well i did change the cats so i need the factory h-pipe . but i think vasman has me covered. no i didnt notice any leaking or slipping prior to the failure. but third gear was starting to stick and if i was shifting hard it was tought to go into 3rd so im not sure if that meant anything but it was def not fun to hear your tranny to explode !! thanks for the advice guys.
