Default Stroker Kit

I just had a Stroker kit installed in my mustang gt. it is a low compression for my upcoming supercharger. I have a question and maybe someone who has a stroker kit can help. Is my engine supose to sound different? Right now it sounds like i have cams in my car. i cant really explain what it is but it is different from before. thanks

I'm sure it's bound to sound a little bit different, if properly balanced it should rev smoother as well.

it's a different motor now.

I noticed something similar when I stroked out a 350 to a 383. The bore is longer, and the valves have different timing.

Hope you like it

Doesn't seem to be too uncommon for strokers to be a bit louder. Search around other forums and you will see that others have asked the same thing.

SHould be slightly louder. As long as it doesn't go boom you should be fine.
