Suspension question!
Calling all mechanical engineers and the like!
How big an impact can after-market rear shocks have on ride quality on a recently lowered car?. I just installed an eibach sport line spring and sway bar using the factory struts up front and factory shocks in the back. Upfront the weight of the engine helps control for decent front end dampening. But because the back end is so light, coupled with a live axle, my rear end ride quality leaves much to be desired.. I'm wondering if i replace the factory rear shocks with a quality after market shock, is it possible to improve the rear end ride quality. Don't get me wrong here, the car handles unbelievably well when pushed...and i love the look... but i'm wondering if i can tweak the rear end ride quality?
I'm looking at these 12 way adjustables:
