Quality comes at a price!

I've got Bassani from header to tip. The trick is STAINLESS all the way, not aluminized ;-)

...anyway, getting off topic from OP's Flows!...

The ones the OP has and I have are stainless steel, these are the new style axle backs that are 40 series square mufflers with a 4'' stainless steel tip, these aren't the big alumium ones that first came out for the s197. The quality on these are top notch and sounds 100% better than the previous flowmaster axle back, really gives it a muscle car sound! This axle back is fairly new design and hasn't been out that long.

Sounds like flowmaster finally got it right. But the bad part is, now I have to decide between MAC with an o/r prochamber or Flowmaster Classic with an o/r prochamber. Thanks buddy as if I haven't spent enough time debating which system I want...lol

boom could be construed as bomb as in cherry bomb, cherry bomb glass packs, boom tubes have the same sound as a glass pack when you let off the throttle after revving they look the same externally, they have boom in their name,

the fox mustangs with flowmasters have the best sound out there, if that can be duplicated in the new cars your golden, I would not want my car having the glass pack rasp when shifting gears and sounding like some redneck in a 81 chevy pickup, thats what boomtubes remind me of

which part number are the classics??
