Smile Very Pleased!!!

Juat wanted to tell everyone that I got a custom tune by Tillman Speed, and it is sweet!!! I have Brenspeed,Bama,JDM and JPC tunes. IMO, the Tillman 93 and 94 track tune(for manuals) is pure bliss. my baby runs like a fine tuned beast....she is going on the dyno at the end of the month....Tillman was able to incorporate a "2 step" rev limiter in my tune, and damn, it works well.....thanks to chris rose.....i mentioned that they should be a sponsor, and he is looking into it!!! they are on the majority of "other" forums.

Nice. i didn't think that it was worth putting 2step rev on a n/a car. either way u gotta post a video of the 2step.

What does the 2-step rev limiter do?

I may be wrong, but the 2 step has a lower rev limit set for your launch, so you can plant you foot and it will sit at 3k revs, then once you go, it sets the limit to the higher one.

again i could be completly wrong, but its my stab at what it does.

it holds the rpm @ 2800(in my case),so it makes launches better and more repeatable..

msd sells a 2 step(launch master), but Tillman incorporated that in my tune!

the upper rpm is set for 6250(in my case) for each gear.

so, at the lights you can floor it and it holds at a given rpm...then all you have to do is dump the clutch !

Thanks NUKE for the comment

I heard good things about the "All Out Tune" that Tillman has. Similar to the Bama Race but with more oomph at the higher speeds.

I can vouch for tillman being respectable, and a good tuner for drag racing.
