i just did mine last weekend...

 

Not the best pics, but this is what mine looked like powdercoated with the chrome powdercoat. Cost me about $50 to have done. About as sturdy as regular paint, already showing wear.. Still cheaper than the $400 for chromed covers..

Chrome looks sweet, but man, thoses Blue ones pop. Mac, I like the shade on yours. MustangMike, what color Blue is that. It like jumps up and says I'M BLUUUUUEEEEEE, they look amazazing.

What type of paint and/or prep work was needed to paint these?

 

Are these polymer, paint, or powdercoated?
