Ready for Snow
Well, winter tires or supersnake paint job, guess the paint will have to wait. I did not add the sencors for the winter set. Is there a way to disable the tire sencor pressure alarm once I put the tires on ??
as far as I know, there is no way to disable the light on the dash, other than unplugging it. if you choose to not put sensors in the new wheels, you'll just have to hit the reset button everytime you start the car and learn to live with that light on the dash....
unless something changes, that's what I'm going to be doing when I upgrade to my new wheels & tires. as much as I'd like to do it the right way, that additional $150-$200 is hard to swallow after buying new wheels, tires, center caps, etc...
thanks for the pic, as funny as it sounds, I've never seen a set of "winter" tires

Smart choice (over the paint job). Be sure to add a sand bag or 2 in the trunk.
There's no way to DISABLE the TPMS. Assuming your winter tires are NOT mounted on your stock wheels, you can either buy new sensors and band kits and install them in your new wheels or reuse your old sensors with new band kits in your new wheels.
