I'm actually curious to see that style hood with the full Cervini kit.
That might speed up the process for you once he's got it done.
It's the Cervini type 4 hood on his pics right?

Yessir, it's the Cervini's Type IV w/ billet inserts... The only thing I didn't get was the functional ram air duct since it was an additional $260, but the fitment of the hood is great, just need to prep it for primer just like you would any other fiberglass part.

Teaser:

It was about 10pm last night, and I was still at the shop waiting for my primer to flash in between coats, and figured I'd throw the hood and bumper on real quick to see what I'm in store for. I think it's gonna look pretty good...

You kidding me....it is going to look awesome! Pascal.....almost anything Cervini can be mixed and matched and still look great IMO......I have seen that hood with the whole kit on ebay and it looks awesome.

I would not have gotten the ram air kit anyway......not compatible with the Whipple CAI in comparison to the Trufiber one (GTS3) which the ram air is built right into the hood itself. Not saying that Cervini's ram air is crap but it is not even useful until over 40 MPH and had limited use and ability to have variances with other hoods or parts......exclusive yes but not practical for my purposes and the way I wanted the car to look. Your hood is still very functional compared to the one I have that came with the kit. (C500)

Thanks, man! I'm not going to continue pic-whoring in this thread until it's done, but I got my hood pins installed today which really add to the looks of the front end.

AAHHHHH!!! I can't wait to see this thing all in black!!

That is going to look really great. That hood pulls the eye forward more and makes the whole front stand out and look even more aggressive. I know I can't wait to see the final product, I can't imagine how you must feel lol
