New '05 section mod
I see most of you have met our good buddy Ryan (dc_mann8). He has been moderating here for awhile now and does a great job.
He's a good fella and he will be responsible for moderating in this section along with the site mods....me included.
This is only a continuation of what I was talking about a few weeks ago in my "changes to "05 section" thread, so nobody should be surprised.....it is a sticky at the top of the page, if you are not familiar with it. https://mustangforums.com/m_574199/tm.htm
Like I said before,
1) We are not making any huge changes.
2) You will still have this section as it appears now.
You must understand this though..... Mustangs have been around for over 40 years.....we have alot of different models to deal with here.
This is a relatively new section ('05). There was a time when we only had a few members with the new model Mustang, so it made sense to just clump everything into one category. Now that we have a good membership, it is time to bring you all online with the other sections of the board. This was always the plan and it is how the site works for everyone.
We are not trying to take anything away from you. We appreciate your support of mustangforums and we want it to work for YOU!!!!! We want you to be happy.
Regardless, the site is structured in a particular way with sections which are specific to certain topics. This applies to all models of Mustangs.
The '05 section is becoming cluttered and disorganized. I explained before that this area is intended for TECH posts only.....there are lots of other areas on mustangforums.....there is an off topic area and a video area and an area for street and strip. You should be taking advantage of all these resources.
Again, I would like to stress that Ryan (dc_mann8) is here to work WITH you. He is your friend LOL. In no way do we wish to diminish your enjoyment of the site and we DO want you all here.
We just need you guys to follow all the same procedures that all the other 40 years worth of models have to follow in order to make the site work.
Let's all try to work together to make this work out for everyone. It's not a big deal. Just post the stuff in the proper sections. It's easy to do and it works.
Nobody likes change, but Jeez guys, it's no big deal. We are just asking you to post in the proper sections. It's not guna be that bad LOL. We will work with you. It's not all black and white. For example, Don_w and Professor Wizard and a few other members pointed out to me that perhaps the tire and rim size questions should stay in here or the delivery date comments. NO PROBLEM!!!! We will listen to you. It's not a dictatorship here LOL, we just need to organize things a little bit better.
Try to work with Ryan. He's a good guy and he has generously volunteered his time to help out in here.

Oh dear...
My shrink told me I am "Beyond Help".
I have to "control" thinks with my job... so to be honest - I think I'll just log in here and let the control stuff be up to you guys! I do good just remembering my password!

I'll see you in the threads... where ever they may be.
