Installing my new avic-d3 deck in my 08 mustang, have no key on power to deck,fuses okay! Even the factory deck will not work unless you have the unused harness from the factory deck(no were to plug in with metra harness) has anybody had this problem please help!

 

How about the fuses on the back of the unit?

Are you SURE you wired it in to a Ignition on Hot source?

 

Well after doing some more looking on the net i found the problem! On the 08 and up mustang there is no key on power to the radio. You have to buy a mini fuse adapter and plug it in to number 5 blank fuse in the fuse block in car! Will still keep radio on with key off till you open the door!
