This thread has me thinkin' what they said way back in the day (about 90 years ago)

Little Kid: "Hey Mister, what'cha got there? One of them new fangled carriages without a horse?"

Car owner: "Yup. It's the newest Ford Model T."

Little Kid: "What year is it?"

Car Owner: "Got me a '14!"

We'll have this discussion all through the "teen" years -- and it just won't sound quite right. We're all so used to hearing "It's a sixty-something" or "It's a ninety-something", etc.

 

I say "Two Thousand Ten"

 

i say two zero one zero

 

Ooo, Gerit's got some class!

 

I say "Delivered in Decemeber"

 

I say twenty ten.....

 

actually i say one thousand times two plus fifty minus forty!

 

I say ten or twenty ten

 

I say "Deux mille dix"
But I've been known to say "The new Stang" as well, lol.

 

My favorite is 二千十, but that's just me. And twenty ten is catching up! And here I was thinking I was in the minority.
