Double Din Install Help!!
Take the harness to BB or another stereo install shop and show it to them. I don't want to say it's basic cause obviously it must not be to some. But installing a stereo in the S197 was the easiest install I have ever done!!!
Like it was posted before, I think you are in way over your head and without the wiring diagram for both the stereo and the harness, and then a pic of the harness's I know I can't help you.
Imagine walking up to a blind person right now and handing them the harness and saying "Is this wired right?" Which is basically what you just did.

Hey bro, take it to Best Buy and pay the $100. If you feel like you must try it yourself, here it is.
1. Don't worry about the brown wires. They don't apply to you.
2. The 5v regulator, one has the blue wire from the kenwood harness. The middle prong is grounded. The 3rd goes to the "amp turn on" on the ford harness. Hopefully you got a ford wire harness.
3. Dont worry about it. Doesn't apply to you.
4. The metal cage isn't used with this mounting kit. You use 4 small screws to mount the radio to the kit. 2 on each side.
5. Most importantly, TAKE IT TO BEST BUY! good luck.

Okay one more question. I purchased a metra mustang double din kit, but I see that lots of people who installed their double dins used an F150 double din. Is the mustang one not correct? Does it even fit, or is there just a small gap?
@ OP. can you possible rephrase the initial question with a seperate space between each question...and maybe # them in sequential order.
would make it alot easier if you can swing that
short of resorting to Wiki & the powers of Google...many people will probably have no clue what you mean by that
