Default HELP PLEASE NEED ADVICE!!!

Okay so I am just getting my license back haha, and I need to find a insuance company that is cheap and friendly with tickets and such. I have 3 speeding and 1 racing ticket and I am 20 and married and the cheapest i can find is like $450 a month. Any advice for a cheap place would be nice. Thanks

holy crap...you should invest in a good radar detector. try safeco. my buddy is an insurance agent and got me on with them a while back. i was paying $1300/yr but now i am with universal insurance and it is even cheaper. I wouldnt even try universal though. according to my buddy, they only accept people with outstanding driving records.

(minimize high risk customers = lower rates for existing customers = everybody is happy); atleast that's what he told me.

With that sort of record I recommend selling your Mustang and getting something that you are less like to use as a rocket to kill yourself or worse yet someone else.

I doubt you find anything that's going to be a real significant difference -I say look but with your record its going to be hard. Tickets suck, trust me I know ... but weigh that against all the times you didn't get caught - could be worse. Good luck though

The cheapest insurance I've found is Geico but I don't think anything is going to be much cheaper than what you quoted considering you're coming off a suspended license...

sell your car at a loss and buy a POS. then run liability only.

if you are paying $450/month for insurance, you could effectively double up your carpayment and be done with the money you lost from the sale.

I just went back to Geico today myself. they dropped me back in April because of my Supercharger on my F-150. I've since sold it, so now they'll cover me.

Married, over 25, perfect driving record, no accidents, no tickets...same for wife.

USAA - $1,200/6 months
Geico - $650/6 months

Geico is pretty cheap...especially if you are connected with a Credit Union that Geico recognizes...or Military

Honestly though, you need to ditch that car.

Holy crap. $ 450 a month ?!?!
I remember when I was 17 in NY and was paying $260 a month but damn that's allot.

I would def sell the car too if the payment is going to be that much. Like the other ppl said, buy a el-cheapo and get you some limited liability and should be good. I'm sure your record will improve and rates will go down once you re-establish your self. Good luck

holy **** thats expensive. I pay 135.00 a month for my 08 Gt and a 09 Civic. I have USAA, if you are in the military i would suggest them.

I work for Nationwide, but let me say this:

I'm going to guess that while your license was suspended, you didn't carry any insurance (why would you, right?). Well, most "standard" companies require 6 months of prior proof of insurance up to the current date. What does this mean? Either your going to be subject to a higher surcharge rating on top of all your tickets, or your going to have to go non-standard (not a major insurance compny, for example Titan Insurance, The General, etc)

But yea, good luck with that.
