04 needs your help!
hey guys, had to come over here for a second.
quick question. What kind of setup for your year would it take you to make the approx~ same number as I have? (288wrhp/310wrtq) (I dont think its a lot, but am curious)
Im asking because my buddy has a 05-07 (dunno which year it is to be honest) that has AT LEASE exhaust, and depending on who gets a jump, is who is going to win the race pretty much.
although he did beat me from a 10 mph roll (that is WITH traction control on in my car)
if we get one on one in 3rd ish and both hit it we are neck in neck, towards the end I might start to pull a lil bit, but like i said, it really depends on who gets the jump.
just curious what kind of #'s u guys make to waht mods.

From: PA to KY ('07) to IL ('09) to MS ('10) to FL ('11)
Bone stock, the AVERAGE GT is pushing about 265 RWHP. A CAI & tune would add roughly 20 to that. Not sure of the typical torque #'s to go with that. Also not sure of what the power-to-weight ratios looks like. Gear info would also play big in this.

Well not quite, but a few stock GTs might be getting close. With a tune and CAI it would be pretty close, much more then that and i think youll be loosing

Just a guess, but its seems like you might be faster in the lower end, but once the 05 gt is up to speed I would think the gearing would decide the winner. You with lower geared car would loose the top end in an all out race.

His car either has factory 3.31, or 3.55 unless its a bullit then it would be 3.73... so as long as you dont have a 10 mile road it will be close. I know when I had 3.31 I had 3 gear to around 105mph or so... 4th would go up to 149.... its a drivers race, go get some Dr's for the race

My old neighbor had an 04 GT VERT stock and i could get a nice pull on him in my V6 with just a CAI and tune
i can also jump an 04 Mach 1 to 3rd gear then he pulled away
i was pretty taken back when i raced the mach 1 at El Mirage

With a CAI+ tune an 05+ GT would be close to the number you quoted, or LTs with tune would be close.
