Default Snow Tires - TPMS??

I just bought some Blizzaks for my 18" rims. They have no TPMS sensors/bands in them. Do I have to hook them up? If I don't will it cause damage? I am only using them from Nov-March...and if its just the light/message I can deal with that. I appreciate all the info.

You can run without the TPMS as it will simply result in a message everytime you start the car, but one that can be cleared with a quick click of the reset button.

It'll only do damage if you hit the reset button too hard. Just a nuisance. OR, you could pile all 4 stock wheels/tires in the car.

They are on the mounted to the rim via straps like these from American Muscle ... http://www.americanmuscle.com/universal-tpms-bands.html

I think I just read in Consumer Reports where even they weren't opposed to the idea of just ignoring the light/message for the duration of winter tire use. But I'll check.
