Unhappy Wheel scrape!! Help!!

So with just barely 1K miles on her some old fart in a crown vic comes flying over into my lane and almost runs me off the road, I hit the brakes and try and miss him, unfortunately my back right tire, slams the curb.. Its not awful but it's not pretty. I have the 19" bright machined aluminum wheels.. Anybody know what my options are on having this fixed without buying a new wheel??

Can't give you an opinion without seeing a pic of the wheel. I have had some pretty messed up wheels fixed (two in my life), but they were both bent from huge potholes, not scraped.

Dude. Thats sucks. Sorry that it happened.

Anyway a good wheel shop should be able to make it much better. Won't be totally clean and new, but they should be able to make it much better. Of course it is hard to tell from the photo how deep the cuts and scrapes are but find a good wheel shop. Out here in Southern CA we have a lot of good shops.

Contact a company called "Wheels America" they specialize in fixing rims and their prices aren't too bad.

If it is not too deep than I am sure they can repair it. The wheel doesn't look bent. I had two in the past that because of potholes they were pretty bad off. I was really surprised at how well they were able to repair. The SVT focus wheel was very bent in my eyes, when the wheel shop was done it looked new. It had scratches too and they fixed them.

Your doesnt look too bad. Of course, it hurts all the same I know.
