Hey all,

Been waiting for all my work to be done before posting pics....I have done the following in past week:-

1 - Taken silver 8 inch stripes off and put on black stripes. On top they are 10 inches with 1/2 inch stripes at either side of these, then at side of car I have a 2 inch stripe with a 1/2 inch stripe both above and below it. The stripes were copies from the Cervinis Auto Design car, ie Eleanor.

2 - Hood pins from Classic Design Concepts - this is not functional.

3 - Side mirrors were painted and wax oil put under car ready for the winters over here.

4 - T Rex Grille bought from sporttrucking.com - these guys had the best price and service I could find.

5 - New 18 inch tires (Dunlop 9000 series) - these are 255/45/18 at front and 285/40/18 at back

6 - 18 X 9 Wheels, Chrome Bullitts......I copies alot of people who had these before me on this website!

7 - Painted calipers, black color

8 - Eibach Pro Springs - these things rock.....I love the look after these went on! Also by changing the springs it stopped that popping noise (never have got that fixed!).

Finally - a 6 inch chrome billet antenna and third brake light 'mustang emblem' are arriving any day, this will finish the look I was goin for!

Nick, it turned out. I like the wheels. But, you should have gotten Real hood pins

J/K Nick. I know not everyone can drill 2 holes in thier hood! My wife thought I'm nuts. Car only 1 week old and installed the hood pins.

Tell me about it I was terrified at the thought of drilling holes in my hood - I have never attempted anything like that and I fell in love with the look more than the functionality side of them......I have tired to copy as much as possible from Eleanor and the hood pins looked soooo good on that car!

THAT looks sweet.. but I'm thnking I liked the silver stripes... but it still is sweet.

And i love the wheels! - - I get comments on mine all the time.
But... Hey... how come your hiding those pics of those HOT UK Girls that continually hang around that thing?

 

You know it sounds crazy but the most important thing I got done was the side mirrors - I have been annoyed at Ford for not color coding them since I bought it, still cannot understand it but I guess its a cost cutting thing.

As for stripes - I liked silver but I think black stand out better and since I am obsessed with Eleanor they had to be black

Girls......they love this car, I know you guys get noticed driving it in the States but imagine driving it where it is a 'one off' car

 

Lookin good! Keep up the great looking mods, although I think you should have gone with the functional hood pins as well.
