that is not a 100 mph wreck. That is probably a 50 mph wreck at best. Kinda weird how there is damage surrounding the motor, but the motor itself isn't terribly damaged. almost like the car tried to squeeze between 2 objects


I had a damn Prius rear-end my SUV going under 30 mph and it badly damaged (totalled) out. Cars nowadays get demolished to save the occupants.





edit: just realized that article is from July 14th
Did you not see the speedo pegged at 100mph???? that might be were the person who wrote the article got that from....DOH!!!!

I didn't realize it was an article from July lol My bad, Something like this I would think I would of heard about heh but yea thew speedo was pegged at 100 so thats kinda crazy. I'm really suprised the government hasn't required something on new cars to upload diagnostics to the computer's memory in an event of a sudden impact(wreck) and see just exactly how fast and were going,wether you had seatbelt on or not, etc.

Also, the convertible S197 is the safest in its class...
This car is build right without a doubt.
Big difference from the previous body shell.
