which blower for a V6?

Default which blower for a V6?

hey guys, since christmas was coming up i was debating giving myself a present and getting a blower. what would you reccomend for a V6? i was thinking of a Vortech. did anybody finance their blower? and would it be recomended? im 19 so i dont exactly have 4k to shell out so i was thinking of financing... vortech will finance right?

I know guys that have both the X-Charger and Vortec S/C on their cars and each are extremely happy. There might be some others to choose from, but I'm not too sure.

JMO, but as far as financing a S/C, I would not.

+1 on the X-Charger. If your car is a daily driver it has boost in the lower RPMs, which is where you would want it. Financing on superchargers is a big no-no.

I like the Paxton 1200 on the V6. Shelby have an authorized kit with it. MSRP is $4,499. Its the same one they use on the CS6 car. I believe I read somewhere the 1200 is the same as a Vortech V2 S. Could be wrong.

Also, instead of trying to find somewhere that will finance the blower you should find somewhere to put it on law away. That way you don't actually owe any money.
