I have a piece on my steering wheel that is partially broken. It looks fine, but it is loose. It is where I rest my thumb most of the time while driving. When I tap on the piece it is obviously loose. I can't seem to figure out how to remove it, or even know what it is so that I can get a new one. I was hoping I could figure out how to remove it and maybe be able to fix it.

Does anyone know what this piece is, or how to remove it? Can I even get a replacement for it.
