Do you guys know if there is any benefit to doing just the trunk?

I seem to get a lot of noise from that area and was thinking about buying a few sq/ft and covering the entire trunk floor.

I know this is alittle different, but deal with me. When I sound deadend my 67 Mustang, I started to put down some layers in the trunk, but then I thought, "wait, this is pointless!". I custom made a special rear seat divider that fit inbetween the rear seat and the metal framework that separates the cabin and truck. Some companies make these, but I made mine alittle more special. After it was bolted in place, I layered the entire rear seat divider, metal framework, wheelwells (adjacent to divider), and rear package tray in deadener. I figured, the trunk can be as noisy as it likes, IF it stays in the trunk. Saved alot of deadener and weight too. I'll post pictures later if there's any interest...

Thats the worst, I tried removing the whole light system, but its that black box that causes the rattles not the lights buy it self. My spoiler has a little rattle to it as well though

Lol the previous owner took mine out. I don't have a box covering the gears in the trunk or a light in the trunk

Thank you, She's changed a bit. Took those cheap side skirts off and replaced with GT rockers and removed the 1/4 windows. I need to update pics but here in MI it's started to snow

Sounds like nice mods, would like to see pics when you get them up...

Also sounds like you need to move to TX, it's 70 and sunny here... :-)
