Default Fair Price?

I was just quoted $893.32 for 4 Nitto Nt555 tires 255/45-18 along with install and tax (7.5% here). Does this seem right? Guy said $189/tire which is only 3$ more than ordering from AM but the install seems a bit high to me. Right price, yes or no?

Order from AM and have them mounted elsewhere.

I had new (craigslist) winter tires mounted on my stock wheels today and it cost me $45 to have the tires swapped out on the stock rims then have my Saleens taken off the car and the stockers mounted up. They're boning you on labor.

When I had my tires installed I paid around $110, which seems like a good price.

Doing the math, that's $35/tire to mount and balance along with tax. Think I paid $25 when I ordered my tires online to have a local place do the M & B, but that was on a new wheel that did not require old tire removal.
