New to the message board, but a three-time Mustang owner. Ordered my GT Premium on December 30 and it's STILL not here!! First the dealer gave me a delivery date of June 27th, then it was July 7, then FOR SURE by July 10. Still not here.

Does anyone have any experience with this nightmare? Is the dealer just jerk'in me around? Is there anyone at Ford that you can call to see if this order was even placed or what the status is?

 

December? wow. Your dealer probably ordered you car, then sold it to someone who was willing to pay higher than you. Your car probably got there around April or even early as March.

 

Heads ARE going to roll if I find out that's the case - -trouble is, I have no clue how to find out!

 

Ask the dealer for the order number.

 

I actually have a copy of the order with the order number on it. . .now whether it's still the same order or not, I don't know.

 

I ordered my stang march 28th. When i first ordered it they told me it would be 8 weeks. HAH! its been 5 months now and it not scheduled to be built until july 28th. I am extremely unhappy with my ford dealer because they won't give me a correct date. I talked to one guy today and he told me it would be delivered the 25th. I was like WOOOHOOOOOO!!!!! but then the sales manager called and was like, no it'll be mid-august before you get it. i was mega pissed. [:'(]

 

I'm right there with ya, brother!! Hopefully we'll both be rewarded in the long run, but this experience certainly gives new meaning to the term "delayed gratification" Hang in there.

You're down to the wire and if your car is going to be an 05 it would have a vin by now. There is a guy over at BON (blue oval news forum) Kzinti that works for Ford and he is updating folks on there VIN#. Here's a link: http://www.blueovalforums.com/index....=14595&st=1760
I would ask your dealer for a VIN# - if he says it doesn't have one yet.... BS

Hey - no problem at all. Glad to help. If he says he has a VIN then yes, get that and go over to blue oval and post it to Kzinti and have him check it out. That's one awesome dude over there.... you know... I think it's he's a he...hhmmmm We should get him/her to post a pic of him/herself.
