Default Removing the headrests 2007

Okay so I have pushed the button and given it a tug but can not see to get the headrest to come out??

I am looking to take the headrest cover off so that I can get some custom embroidery done but for the life of me am completely stumped by what should be a simple process!

If it is really simple.... then yes I am a muppet!!

Thanks in advance

ELMO

Look for the paper clip hole or read the owners manual.

Yep, look at the little square plastic parts the the head rest poles go into and you will see a very little hole. Put a paper clip or anything you can find that will fit into that hole and push in on it at the same time your pulling up on the head rest and it will come out.

This is driving me nutz! Every thread I read where I think to myself "I'll just go into the garage and check that out on one of the Stangs...", only to remind myself that they're both in storage. I need some valium...

Thanks..... will try the paper clip.

Can't read the owners manual at the moment.... it is still in my UK residence! Forgot to have someone put it in the car when I had it shipped to the USA!! Very frustrating!

Or you can PM me with your email and I'll send you the pdf file for the '07.

EDIT: Under the assumption that 157db's link doesn't open for you.

elmo, what are you getting embroidered on them? I'm gonna do something, too, just can't figure out what and am looking for ideas.
