Quick newb tuning question
I'm in the process of getting things set up for the install of 4.10 gears, Mac Longtubes, and a Mac o/r Prochamber on my '05 gt Manual. I have searched the forum but haven't found a direct answer to my question.
Is an emailed tune from Brenspeed enough to get everything running right, or is a dyno tune recommended for such mods? I haven't had the car for very long, and do not have much experience when it comes to things in respect to tuning, as this is really my first car that I am modding as much as I am (22 years old).
For reference, if it helps, right now all I have on the car is a C&L intake and Mac Axelback.
Thanks for all the help.

With your mods, an email tune from Brenspeed or anyother tuner is all that is needed. You probably already know this, but let who ever is tuning your car your mods. Dyno tuning is best when you have a turbo or F/I. Sometimes cams need a dyno tune.

Are you currently running a tune with the C&L CAI? I'm surprised you're not throwing a CEL if you're not.
If I recall, the C&L CAI requires a tune or you'll throw a code for running lean which is damaging to the engine. You'll also need the handheld to adjust for the gears. Even if you get a tune with the settings for your stock gears, it's easy to change the tune for the new gears yourself. If you lose the cats with the LT's, then you'll need whomever writes your tunes to turn off the O2 sensors. Again, if not you'll throw another code.
