New springs in the mail! Anything I need to know?

Hey All,
Well Christmas left me some extra cash in hand, so I ordered some Eibach Pro Kit Springs, and I'm just trying to get an idea if theres anything else i have to do while I'm in there?

I plan on doing the shocks, struts later and plan on doing one set of BMR camber bolts and from what I was told the GT500 front strut mount plates whil I do that, but like I said, down the road on those.

So any tips, advise, or things I need to do while in here on this project, please feel free to let me know. Thanks for any help, and I'll try to make another video guide when I do these.

If you have any questions about the install taco bill has a thread on doing the whole thing.... in case you didn't know... good luck with the install I have mine in the mail as well but waiting for the weather to warm up above freezing before install...

yeah theres good install info there, but was wondering if there is anything aside from the basics that I should know going into this. nice to see with that amount of lower he didnt even need camber correction though.

As a reference, even my Roush's with only a 1in. drop shifted the rear about 1/2 in towards the drivers side. And although it was not that noticable with the stock wheels/tires, once I installed the ones, it looked out of place. So I would start shopping the classifieds for a adjustable panhard bar.

The rears are easy and on a coupe should only take ~45 min. max. But not sure I would want to do the fronts twice. Why not wait until you can get some new struts and do it all at once??

I just ordered the Steeda Ultralite springs right before Christmas. I'm going to install them with the stock struts, shocks, and panhard bar. Then if I need the panhard bar, I'll order it. However, I read several threads where members didn't need it.

Where is the side to side measurement taken when checking the rear end alignment to see if you need a panhard bar?

Look through TacoBill's sticky on doing the panhard bar install (scroll about 1/2 way down)... you simply tape a plumb-bob to each fender and measure the distance to the center of the wheel. http://forums.themustangsource.com/s...d.php?t=462993
