You won't notice as MUCH difference between the 87 custom tune and any of the higher octane tunes than you did between the 87 stock and 87 custom tunes but there IS a difference. Also, you'll find that one tune will often pull different than another tune. My 89 pulls harder in the low to mid RPM range than my 93 tune does. For my driving style, I typically run the 89 tune. I've also been in at least 2 situations where I could only get 87 octane on road trips and was very glad I had the tuner in the car.

[QUOTE=bluovalguy;6722485]I just installed my new Steeda and brenspeed tune. WOW!!! It feels like a new car. I cant wait to try the 91 tune. My dumbass forgot to start buying 91 while waiting on the tunes, so I only have the 87 installed right now. I only drove for about 30 minutes to see if any cel's came on or any other problems, nothing!!

My exact feelings after I got my 91 tune from them as well

And it's always been said here by the guys with CAI & tune: Don't wait. You're just wasting time that you can be enjoying the car that much more.

Depending on where I end up living, either catted or o/r x ( or pro chamber), shorty headers, or HID's.

There is not too much difference between bama's 91 tunes and 87 tunes, so it would probably be the same with brenspeed. I dynoed bama's 91 race, 91 tq and 87per back to back at a dyno. The 87 per. dynoed 293.75RWHP and 305.06 tq. Between the 91 race and 91 tq, there was really no difference. Both gave me an avg of 298RWHP and 308RWTQ.

When I got my JLT and Brenspeed tunes back in January 2009 I was a shade disappointed with the 87 tune. I expected more.

Then I put on the 93 tune and it was a huge difference. I honestly felt like there was a bigger difference between the 87 and 93 tunes than there was between stock and the 87 tune... weird.

Now I just can't wait to upload my new 93 Saleen supercharger tune from Brenspeed... :-)

Well, I am still on the 87 and loving it. I just wish it would stop raining. Makes it hard to really get on it to really see what she will do without spinning. But hey, even that is fun
