Default Exhaust recommendations please.

Okay so I know there are 9 billion of these threads and I have searched youtube countless times before I asked this.

Currently I have stock exhaust manifolds a pypes off road h pipe and pypes muffler deletes. I just got a set of m80s for christmas from the wife and was going to do the mid muffler system but Im starting to worry about clearence because I also have the eibach pro kit and already scrape sometimes.

I have the stock tailpipes between the h pipe and muffler delete so in order to use the m80s I will have to cut these up and put the m80s in. The thing I am worried about is what if I put these in and have clearence issues and destroy these or do not like the sound then I have to replace the tailpipes and get new mufflers.

I have been starting to look at pypes violators and am liking what I see/hear. I do also like what I hear about the m80s as well.

Eventually I am wanting to do cams, long tubes, and a vortech supercharger, and I only want to buy 1 set of mufflers and have them last me a long while.
Which muffler set up will sound better with these mods? What do you guys suggest? Should I try the violators before I weld in m80s?

Thanks in advance.

If you are going with L/T and a vortech, I would go with magnaflow. The maggies will be loud enough with an o/r h and l/t headers.

LT's with a O/R H pipe, you'll want a chambered muffler, not a straight-thru design. Can't comment about ading a S/C.
Check out the FRPP GTA's, one of the few that don't drone.

Over at tms, there is a guy running L/T, O/R H and maggies. Sounds awesome. Previously he was running FRPP GTAs. With this set-up, it sounded better with the maggies.

i would get the catted magnaflow tru-x and use a straight through muffler....i.e.. stingers...if you have clearance issues, good luck with the m-80's. they can be a pain in the ****, even on a stock ride height. like most, i have tried almost every combo there is. in short, go with LT's and catted x and maggies..
have fun

I'm running BBK long tubes with catted X and violators. I like it. I have been thinking about going to some mid mufflers though and doing dumps under the car. To me, that is the sickest sound.
