Default Used Supercharger

I am hoping someone out there can give me some pointers. Long story short I came across a used supercharger today. It was on an 05 GT for 8 months before it was wrecked recently (seems to be the season for wrecks). I am going to check it out but before I go I could use some advice as to what to look for. I kind of trust the source as it is from a local mustang club member but you can never be to careful. Any pointers would be great as I don't want to get screwed.

mustang is wrecked...but the car itself should still run

start up the car and watch the pulleys. make sure all of the belt systems are in alignment.

centri or positive blower? if centri, make sure the intercooler doesn't have any holes/ruptures and the connecters are all good.

with either type, make sure the coolant pump works.

finally, check the blower itself. you don't want any slop in the input shaft, and make sure everything is nice & tight.

if everything is on the up & up, should be a great way to get a smoking deal. you can also consider sending the unit off for refurbishment. if it's a saleen, see if you can get the newer screw style installed

The blower is already off the car as the car was totaled out. I was told it is a vortech but I didn't get to speak to the actual seller yet. The owner works 3rd shift so the earliest I can meet up with him is on Sunday.

Alot can go wrong with the alignment of a centri kit in an impact. And the intercooler.

Well scratch this idea the guy sold it before I could even look at it. Either that or he was afraid I would catch him in a screw job.
