Default Question on SCT; SF3

I finally decided to get an upgrade for my mustang GT 2008 so i bought the JLT 05-09 Mustang GT Cold Air Intake & SCT SF3 Custom Tuner Combo package. I installed the intake and I tuned the engine accordingly, however after the tune I noticed that that my shift points are way different (i have an automatic transmission) and it looks like right now its set to be gas efficient. I loved how aggresively my mustang handled before and would even like to have it handle more so after installing the intake so if anyone knows how i can fix this I would greatly appreciate it. Im new to working on cars and dealing with tuners so im thinking that I missed a pretty easy solution to this problem. Thanks for the help.

ur gonna need someone like brenspeed to give u new tunes for ur car. They will load 3 tunes in ur car depending on what gas grade u have in the state. Whether its 87, 89, 91, and the higher octanes. Thats how u get the most out of ur CAI and the hand held tuner. Just go to the website or give them a call. good luck. BTW thats what i have in my car and huge difference

american muscle offers free tunes though when you buy the product through them, would a 75 dollar tune through brenspeed really be worth it compared to the free tune through american muscle?

the answer is...

if user adjustable options are enabled on your
tune, you can play with different shift point
settings for your transmission.

upload your tune again, but this time go to
change operational parameters first.

The short answer is yes there is a big difference. Nothing against AM but when it comes to tuning there are only a handful of tuners who tune our cars properly. AM sells great products and provides great service (at least from what I read). However they don't provide great tuning. Brenspeed has its own fleet of test vehicles in which they test out everything they sell. They try each combo and push it to its limits so we don't have to worry when we put it on our cars. I personally would only trust my car to Brenspeed or Doug at Bamachips (however Doug is going through some personal stuff and I would not recommend him at this time as service is slow).
