Cervinis claim their hoods don't require hood pins, I call BS. My Cervinis hood flaps around at 50 mph. I called Cervinis tech line and adjusted my hood stops per their instructions and using variations of their methods. My Cervinis hood still flapped while driving so I installed a pair of Shelby hood pins in the outer bump stop locations, no more flapping.

As far as hood struts you should use Cervinis of similar, I think Steeda struts are the same. If you use Redline make sure you use rivets made for use with fiberglass. https://www.cervinis.com/large.aspx?img=1351_1_big.png 05-09 Cervini's Hood Strut Kit

I'm still using the Cervinis windshield washers that came with my hood, but when I do change them I'll do it like this.

Yea my hood bolts seemed to be smaller as well. The struts bolt in using the hood mounting bolts, I believe you get longer bolts. See below pdf.

The washers I'm using are the ones in "figure A" in the below pdf. They just mount to the underside of the hood.

Anyone know where you can get the Shelby GT500KR hood pins for a GT hood? They look the best to me.

I would get them if they were available and fit the stock GT hood.

Anyone have any thoughts?
