why are you going with an o/r H? is it already on the car?

if its not on the car yet, just scrap it and get the MAC's. this car has the potential to get decently loud even with stock cats and H pipe

i had both the flowmasters and pypes back in the day. the pypes actually sound alright; the flowmasters are too quiet and dont sound that great.

So what kind of Mac exhaust are we talking about? This one: http://www.brenspeed.com/tk2546.html or the boomtubes?

there are a couple different type of flowmaster available for our cars, the classics which are a recent addition and haven't been out that long sound great, I just put them on my car a few days ago and have driven it around a little bit since, I am very happy with them, I have 3:73 gears and have no drone issues.

the pypes mufflers to me sound like a boat, boomtubes sound like glass packs, those mac's sounded good and the flowmaster AT classics which I have sound great.

I am talking about the chambered Macs. Chandler at brenspeed said the flowmasters AT will be the quietest and will drone the least when i called him today. But the o/r h is on and staying on until I get long tubes. I like the sound of Macs but they seem very loud with a lot of drone correct? I can't find much about the violators but they sound a lot like the Macs from what I can tell. And the flowmasters seem like they are the quietest with the least drone. Am I correct from what I've gathered?

they are all gona drone. the only mufflers that don't drone are the GTA's/bullits and the Corsas. When I had my kid I went with GTA's and now that he's 2 I have Edelbrocks.

Least drone... do NOT get the Macs then. I tore them off my car after they were on for a week. They droned so bad that my girlfriend and I would feel physically ill when we got home from a drive. They sounded great though, lol.

If you are looking for fairly cheap, better sound than stock, and no drone, the Flowmaster American Thunders might work for you. They aren't that incredibly loud though. I ran them on this car for a while, then switched to some MBRPs because I wanted something louder. The best axle-backs I've heard for these cars are hands down the SLP Powerflos. They are pretty loud, but not crazy loud, and just have a badass muscle car tone. I may get another set of those (sold my '07 GT with 'em on there).

Heres a vid with the Flowmasters. If you can't hear them well, thats because they aren't that loud.
