Just ordered my next mod!
36 square feet of Damplifier Pro sound deadener!
Shipping weight said 27 lbs and it should be enough to make my car ride alot quieter so hopefully it will be worth the $190 price tag.
I considered Dynamat and other cheaper brands but most people agree that Damp Pro is the highest quality so i figured why not go for it.
Anyone else sound deadened their car a little? Happy with it?
I read a couple threads when i did a quick search and it seems like it will be worth it.

Im not looking to make my exhaust much quiter since i love how it sounds, but there is alot of ambient noise when driving down the road that annoys me. Ill start another thread once i get around to installing it but that is probably going to be a long road. Many people say it takes like 40 hours to install and since I work practically full time and im a full time student ill be installing in stages.

Blasphemous!! :P
Yeah from what I read it really does work great, but it just takes some time to install. Unless you have a second vehicle to use and can afford to down the Mustang, installing it in stages is the best option. Good luck to ya and let us know how it goes.

From what ive read the cheap stuff works just as well but you have to add 2x as much to get the same results. Plus some of the cheap stuff is asphalt based instead of buytl (spelling?) so it can smell kinda bad. Hopefully the damplifier will achieve the best results with the least weight and layers added. Most likely i will do the trunk first, then doors, then head liner, then hopfully just the rear of the car, then finish up the front when i have a couple days i can park the car. Should be an interesting project
