This thing not only looks like BS but it could quite possibly damage your engine. I wouldn't plug anything into my car that alters the ecu unless it was from a reputable company. Especially not if it said 88 - 05. Most likely it wouldn't do anything at all, good or bad.
This looks like another one of those resistor things you put inline with your MAF...
It makes your MAF think it's getting more air than it actually is, and so you get more gas... in theory you might get a little more power, but your A/F ration would be all of...
Not a good idea if you ask me.

I have no idea what that thing is, and I can't get any details on it...I've read that page on ebay and I've tried to do a quick search on google...but I still haven't found any good info that that gadget. So, I don't recommend it.
Total peice of garbage. Right up there with the "Turbonator". If you read the add it's not even proffesionally worded. When they have things like "the damned government" in their add you know their target market is the lowest common demomonator type that continues to beleive that there is some inexpensive miracle device that can be slapped on to any car for some sort of massive efficiency gain. Hence the "Turbonator" and now this peice of junk.
Additionally they show what is supposed to be a Ford part number. I used to work for Ford and I can assure you that Ford part numbers do NOT look like that! Ford has a basic part number with a prefix and a suffix. For example, all 2A635 are emergency brake cables. The prefix, for example, C5AE would indicated vehicle decade, year model and series, and the suffix indicates things such as left, right, top, bottom, color, ect. So the fact that these con artists are using a part number that claims to be a "Ford" part number but is nothing at all like a Ford part number reduces credibility even further.
Over the years there have been a long line of useless devices like this. They all cost somewhere between 40 - 80 dollars because these con artists have determined that people who know nothing about cars are willing to pay something in that range for these aleged miracle workers.
Save your money and buy some real performance hardware that actually works.
