Question Mustang Cruises

Not sure if this is the right forum to post this, but does anyone know of any upcoming Mustang cruises or get-togethers in Ohio for 2010? I've looked around on these boards and it seems most of them are on the West Coast or down south...NOTHING for lonely old OH so far. I don't want to travel cross-country just yet as the finances aren't there.

And what exactly do you do in a cruise? (caution, 1st Stang owner and complete noobtard so be gentle!) From what I gather it looks like you just drive around with a herd of other Mustangs, oogle each other's rides, and drink a lot. Sounds like a good time to me!

Should be in the 'Regional' section...

I'll let it hang here for a little bit just because you need all the exposition you can get being in Ohio and all.
It will get moved eventually.

Have you checked any Mustang clubs in your area?
You should be able to hook up with a few fans in your neck of the woods.

I think that sounds just about right. You can try searching on google or what not for any mustang clubs in your area. I found one in Maryland and waiting to get my car back before I hit them up, looks like they do about a cruise every month or so. At least a get together.

True! Ohio sucks! The only Mustang club I found was Mustang Club of Ohio, which consists of approx. 7 elderly people who own classic cars...j/k but I wasn't very impressed at all.

I looked in the regional forum but didn't find anything concerning OH. Thanks, Pascal!

LOL, if you mean alcohol by "drink a lot", most organized cruises do not encourage drinking and driving. It's not only dangerous for everyone around but in all probability the car you hit will be another Mustang. Otherwise, you're absolutely right, most cruises have a show 'n' shine before; the cruise route is usually mapped out with stops along the way; and a meeting place at the end to meet and greet and trade modding information and tips. Mustang owners are a family and I haven't met one who wasn't friendly and open (especially when you have a question about our mods). I know you'll enjoy it. Here's [raising glass ] to finding a cruise and having a great time!

There are a few Ohio members on these boards...
You guys need to get together and start from there then.

Laura (07CaliGTstang) has put a cruise together in Pennsiltucky by herself last Summer and it was a pretty good turn out.
Girls are good at organizing these things and guys love Mustang Lady fans.

Yep, keep an eye out for the cruise in PA, around the State College area, that will be coming up sometime when the weather breaks. We had a great turn-out last year for it being our first time. And we had quite a few folks from Ohio join in the fun as well.

Pascal, what would you do without us?

Ohio is one hop, skip, or jump over the state line. To answer your question...........they are right beside each other.
