Default Painted my C&L intake...

I traded my Airaid for a C&L and really did not like the "aluminum" look. So I dedcided to put my handy hands to work and check it!!!!

I like . I wish the rubber seal parts came in yellow so I could continue my yellow/black theme.

Would be interesting if you could put the tube in a tumbler to polish it, and then powdercoat it.

Just buy black silicone hoses. Samco is one of the high-end names, but there are endless lists of smaller companies for less price, all of which make black and most can make yellow too.

that bay needs some water. and perhaps some soap too :P
Looks good. Even thought of having a nice shiny texture ? Or you wanted it to be rough looking like that?
I would also get some more blue hoses in there to kind of go with what you have going on with the cai seals and filter

it actually is quite shiny... The roughness is just the casting of the tube.... I am actually planning on ditching the blue and goin with a silver filter.....

I don't know about a silver filter but if you call green filters usa they can make a custom size color match filter (you could get yellow)
http://www.airfiltersonline.com/inde...8sh13u0d3hm5n5

call them for custom sizes
I got a dual cone filter from them to replace the one that came with the C&L (same size but also has a 2nd cone giving it more surface area) (2nd cone goes inward on the end of the cone)
