Default loudest mufflers

my gf has an 05 gt. she had flosound mufflers put on over a year ago and she has never liked how quiet they are. she dosent want to do an o/r h pipe since you cant buy o2 simulators anymore not that the o/r h pipe would even make it any louder with quiet mufflers. they more quiet than the flomaster 60 series i have on my fox and. she basically just wants a loud muffler. thats all she cares about despite me telling her she will get annoyed by them in time. the first muffler that came to my mind was a cherry bomb extreme but idk. dont want to spend a crap load either. any opinions for this simple girl????? thanks

well the o/r h will make a big difference, even if she only had stock mufflers. removing the cats will make the car louder than any muffler will be able to do. she would not need an o2 sim., they don't make them for the s197, a tune would fix that, but if all she wants is a loud and cheap muffler, slp resonators, not the loudmouths but the resonators. here is the link to AM for the resonators

^+1 The cats on the stock H pipe are equivalent to 2 mufflers each, lol. If you keep the stock H you could try muffler deletes. You can find those on most s197 parts websites.

As flying pants said, muffler deletes you could go muffler delete. If you look in the classified sections of various mustang forums, you may be able to find a set of boomtubes, slp lm or pypes muffler delete. Another option is to have a muffler shop do a custom muffler delete. Depending on how much they charge for labor and what tips you buy, this might be just as much as buying a new muffler delete.

i know she wishes it would sound like my 02 gt did. it had an o/r h pipe and bassani cat back. it really sounded like sex. i just think the 3v motor sounds much different. i would do the o/r h pipe on her car but im sure a tune would be very expensive in regards to not being able to buy 02 sims anymore. i recently put an o/r h pipe and flowmaster 60 series on my fox and it really isnt much louder than it was before for whatever reason. ive just been told its do to the 60 series. i cant make up my mind though for her mustang.

Boomtubes are pretty damn loud. Just look for mufflers that don't have a muffler pack. SLP's, deletes, and Boomtubes all have that design.
