There isn't a definite best, but c&l, bbk, k&n, steeda, roush, air raid, and injen seem to be pretty Damn good lol

The type of CAI doesnt really matter, you get your power gains from the tune. I personally like the the way the Airaid looks in my bay. But its all youre taste. Good luck.

100% correct. Its all in the tune.

The cai is what you like. I chose the FRPP 'bullitt' type cause I think it looks the best on the car

Their isn't really a best. Go for the one you like the looks of and can afford. i own the jlt. Good gains, looks okay. I was worried with the price tage on C&L stuff, but theirs are great, steeda is good too. Jlt, steeda, c&l. Look more into info on the tune than the cai.

I saw a dyno sheet with the JLT vs the BBK cai and the JLT produced 9 hp over the BBK. But all tune required intakes with produce near identical results.

+1. Seals against the hood liner too. And that I live in the Peoples Republic of California with its draconian emission laws. The FRPP Bullitt CAI is legal here.

JLT got the most horsepower gain on a test done by one of the mustang magazines with 11 different CAIs back in '05. It edged out barely in horsepower compared to the C&L, but C&L took first overall. It had a 'better' look. I went with JLT for horsepower and price. I think it looks just fine.
