Default Differential??

I was wondering if anyone has added this intriguing mod to there stang. Im getting ready to install 410's on my car and thought this would complement my gears. Brenspeed has one on there website and its an eaton 31 spline differential. It puts the power to both of ur back wheels instead of just one. I was also wondering if the traction control system still works when u add this. Any suggestions are welcome, and thanks

Your traction control will still work. The stock unit still turns both wheels, but it isn't as beefy when adding large amounts of power. The stock unit uses clutch packs, and is prone to wearing out after some time.

You don't need it unless you're pushing some serious power. Even most FI guys don't need to upgrade. The stock diff can handle a good amount of power over stock. Just get a good shop to install your 4.10's.

I have a brand new Auburn for sell that I will let go for cheap if interested. Paid $400 make a reasonable offer and it's yours.

waste of money, don't get a new diff. If you would like, take it to a diff master and he will add an extra clutch for you and it will be good to at least 700rwhp and cost you less in labor and parts than just the new eaton or auburn POS. I have plenty on friends in GT500s pushing well into the 700rwhp range on the stock diff, trust us when we tell you, it's almost bulletproof for most applications

If you're road racing or aytocrossing, the worm gear will improve your times a smidgen. Otherwise, what you have is plenty good enough.
