Default SUPERCHARGER HELP?

I have a 2007 gt v8 with 410 gears, SCT chipped with Ford Racing suspension and I have thinking about supercharging it. Has anyone done this? Looking for pros and cons? Its a weekend car. I have been looking at the Paxton Throwback Kit for $3899.

I haven't seen anyone running the throwback kit yet, but it is identical to the Vortech kit they sell. The only difference as far as I know, is the logo stamped into the side of the blower. I created a thread a long time ago about this kit:

I'm trying to get an sc also for my 06 gt. I have the funds saved, but it's tough pulling the trigger for me on such a large purchase. I am looking at the saleen or edelbrock kit.

Both good kits. If you like supercharger "whine" noises, go Saleen.
