How happy are you with the cruise control?
I currently have an Escape and the cruise in it is NOT the greatest.
It will allow your speed to vary by 5-10 mph on even the slightest grades.

I'm hoping the mustang will do better.

no issues, but no steep grades or anything that could cause the car to vary in speed. So far I've set it, and forget it.

My cruise control works perfectly. It holds a steady speed. No complaints.

Every time, just about all the time, I'm using my cruise control, it's at 70 to 72 MPH. Over hill, over dale, same speed. That V8 just pulls it up, and going down, throttle is backed off, and doesn't seem to speed up on the downs. Not so far anyway.

Mine works at 120MPH hehe, Won't let you set it lower than 30mph through. The other thing that might help with the cuise control is the electronic throttle...

Mine worked great the couple of times I have used it. I enjoy driving it so much I just never think to engage the cruise control.... [sm=gears.gif]

I like the cruise control in the Mustang. It's easy to work and seems to hold the speed well.

Supposedly it will disengage if I push the clutch in, but I have to depress the clutch quite a ways to get it to turn off. On the S2000 I had before, just a tap on the clutch would disengage the cruise control. My Plymouth minivan has a cancel button and the Honda could also be disengaged by hitting both the accelerate and decelerate buttons at the same time. So I just hit "off" if I don't want to tap the brakes and I'm fine.

I consider the Mustang cruise control to be one of the better ones that I've used.

I've never been in a car that will let you set it at less than 30. I think their feeling when making it that way is if you're in a place where the speed limit is that low, you probably need to have control of it yourself anyways.
