Had a bugger of a time disconnecting my negative battery cable, which I was doing for a few reasons, but got my BrandMotion iPod kit installed this morning.

Took a couple hours, just because I haven't taken a car apart in awhile.

Install wasn't too bad. The worst part was disconnecting the HVAC connectors from the control pod. I ended up breaking the swing lock on the air control direction selector clip. No biggie.

I wish I had small hands like that guy who is afraid to get a Whopper at Burger King sometimes... SOMETIMES!

Also had my 10 year old install my Steeda super shorty antenna. I also let him install a billet E-brake cover. We did two out of three Steeda billet HVAC *****. Unfortunately I lost one of those damn collar inserts. Hopefully I can just find a replacement at an electronics or auto parts store.

Overall, a fun morning.

The major bummer is that disconnecting the battery and the radio DID NOT fix the CD ERROR on my Shakey 500. Perhaps my throttle response will be further improved with the battery disconnect.
