Default How hot do valve/cam covers get?

Like the title says, how hot do the valve/cam covers (whichever title you prefer to call them) get? How hot from everyday driving condtions? And how hot from drag/autocross? If anyone could get actual temps or VERY educated guesses instead of throwing out numbers it would be very appreciated. Thanks!

I just installed an Aeroforce Interceptor gauge and it reads cylinder head temps. I see 195-200 degrees F on normal driving and up to 210 at an auto-x. I would assume that the valve covers would be around 10-20 degrees cooler, but i would assume a max temp of like 250 F on a really hot day under heavy load.
