Default super charger

Just curious if you would buy a used supercharger off ebay. Almost everyone says barely used or something like that...but I think that is hard to believe.

It seems as though it would be too easy to get screwed on a purchase like that. Regardless of Ebay's "ethical" rating system, I wouldnt.

I think I would if they had it "certified" through someone...like evolution, brenspeed, lethal, etc. As long as they had someone reputable sign off that it was still in good order...

perhaps you could set up somethere where they ship it there...it gets checked out, you call and talk to that place directly to get their take on it...and then they can ship it to you

I find the barely used hard to believe. I have seen a few used saleens in the past few months. I had my buddy bid on one and luckily we missed out right at the end. I seen a saleen headunit only go for 1700 I believe. I would have liked to get that, but the seller couldn't give me any good info on it at all. So I passed on the 2500 buy it now.

You know, come to think of it, you never see one that says, "Only has 80,000 miles on it." What happens to all the SC's that have more then like 1500 miles?

I had a guy off ebay write me back and say he took the sc off to go all motor. I had to really wonder about this and it made me forget about buying that item. That's more of something being said about a used nitrous kit and not a saleen sc at a buy it now for 2500. Plus for some odd reason he didn't have anything but the headunit? I watched the kit up until the close of the auction and I think it went for $1700.

I wouldn't suggest it unless you can have it checked by someone. Too many scammers on ebay.

you dont put a after market super charger on a car to drive it like a b*tch

i dont care if he only did a few shake down runs you know he was pounding it

buy new or buy used from a rep shop you get what you pay for
