What is Idle speed of 2007 mustang gt

 

??? why? Probably 2-3 mph. But I can idle in 4th at about 20 or so in my 05 GT.
When the motor is cold and just started 5 in 1st, 10 in 2nd... that is all in general of course..

 

I'd go start mine but it's in storage and not accessible. But I think someone recently said it was in the 700-800 RPM range. I would have thought 650 if I had to guess, though.

There may be a sticker under the hood somewhere with that info. I checked my pdf version of the OM and couldn't find it.

 

Ahh. I don't know why I was thinking speed.... I think mine Idles around 8-900. I'll double check today if no one else posts.

 

I have an 07 GT and its idles at about 750. I also have a tune on it so idk if that makes a difference or not.

 

I believe the stock idle is 650. At least for an auto and in gear from what I remember.

 

Mine is set at 750, but thats just what its set at with the tuner.
