Default Looked at them side by side.

Not disprespecting those of you who own 2010's, but last night I got the opportunity to pull my 2009 next to a 2010. I know it is a case of what ever you like, but I sure like the looks of the 2005-2009 over the 2010. To me, it has way more retro coolness to it. I know Ford has to "keep up", but to me there is hardly any way they could have done better with the 2005-2009's. I am not sorry that I bought a 2009 one tiny bit.

I agree, the only thing I regret is not being able to get a 5.0 in a 05-09.

I think both are way cool and they look similar from a far, unlike when Ford redesigned the SN95 and the New Edge was much more muscular and Mustang looking than the earlier car IMO. Just wish the '10s tail lights didin't have that upswept angle to them

I am far more of a "sharp angled / utilitarian look" man myself. The 05-09 captures that look to me like nothing else. IMO I do not like the upswept rear end. Ford has a way of doing that to a lot of their designs. The '09 F-150's back, same thing. They tend to loose it when they come to the back end. Like they have run out of money or something.

I also had the opportunity to compare the 2010 to 2005-2009 models up close, by itself except for the rear and the hood i didn't see much difference, side by side they are entirely different. I have to say at first I was a little dissapointed with the rear, because I liked the way the 2009... looked but I do like the sequencial turn signals.

I prefer my 06 to the new look but would love to have a 5.0.....that being said I'll be keeping this one for a long while.

They make an inexpensive kit for the 05-09 for seq taillights.

Yea, like $120...plus you don't have to look at the 10 rear
